Have an Info Card with Motorcycle VIN as well as Motorcycle License Number, handy for Customs, Immigration and Ticket Control ,.
Passports of Motorcycle Rider and Motorcycle Passenger. Ferry Company Name, Reservation Number, Boarding Lane Number
Keep all together in one place. A Motorbike Tankbag makes for easy access and can be carried with you at all times.
Boarding;
Keep any and all Travel Documents and Travel Info and unsecured valuables together and handy for easy removal from Motorcycle. Your Bike's Tankbag is most convenient means. Any toiletries, clothing items etc. need to be handy and easily removable from Motorcycle as you will not have access to the Motorcycle Luggage during trip.
Be prepared to move to line front for first boarding.
Load Decks can be slippery from water and oil . This applies not only to Motorcycle Tires ,but also Motorcycle Boots as well. Eyes open for hazards. Follow Loadmasters instructions to front of Ferry. Ferry Personnel will supply Motorcycle Tiedowns and will secure Motorbike to the deck.
Remove anything you may want or need during Ferry ride. Books, maps, camera, food and drink. Change of clothing. Toiletries. Ferry trip provides excellent opportunity for Map Study and Trip Planning.
All travel documents and valuables should be removed from Motor cycle and kept with you at all times.
